Office Managment

Dental office management (sometimes called dental practice management, dental support, or dental support services) is a set of practices, procedures, and skills that go beyond clinical care, and that is needed to turn an education in dentistry into an actual viable practice.
In either case the CDA’s will have to have great fundamental patient care practices and those practices will have to be able to cross over between offices and between staff members. That is to say that CDA should have the correct patient management techniques to be able to work with any receptionist team and also be able to sit down with any dentist and be able to without having to “relearn” how this dentist likes to do it.
Our courses will include some higher level concepts to allow the CDA to predict or understand what the dentist has planned or is planning to do. This will help the CDA in prepping patients with patient discussions and helping to optimize the patient experience by helping the patient understand their treatment options. We recommend you start by having your CDA team take the patient hand-off course as this is a point of contact between the Patient-CDA and CDA-Reception that if not handled well can create confusion and a poor patient experience. This will immediately improve patient experience and practice function.
