About Us

PubDent As A Learning Technology Was Born Out Of These Endeavors

Our team started with a General Dentist who was frustrated trying to train staff as he worked and had no resource for basic and complex training for his staff. He decided to build an application to reduce his staffing issues that would also be eligible for CE credits. Our programmer/developer has worked on many full stack applications. His passion and experience building this Coursel TM based education application has led to the development of this new type of online education learning technology.

The Problem:

In dental school they do not teach you how to run a practice. Everyone in the office comes from different education institutions and experience levels. A simple training platform for all staff roles and responsibilities does not exist.

The Solution: PubDent Dental CE Application

Dentistry is a complicated profession. If you are reading this, you already know that. Running a practice is a lot of work and requires many different skills. With so many licensed individuals, and so many different procedures occurring in one location; it can be difficult to manage clinical outcomes and business outcomes simultaneously. Our training platform was created to solve this problem.

Pubdent Was Created To Fill A Few Different Gaps In Practice Management And Continuing Education

1. A corporate training platform that deals with all aspects of the general dental office does not currently exist or is not widely available for dental practices.

2. Staff training modules must be available and easily allow practice owners and managers to train staff to the standards and practices they would like to see in their clinic(s).

The Ultimate Goal

To create a continuing education site that teaches all staff clinical and office practices that are consistent, and evidence based.
1. Create a CE site for the whole team which acts as a common place to reference and discuss our dental knowledge and practices. Allow for common ground by referencing specific Coursels at staff meetings. 2. Direct staff to the training courses; as a team or as an individual. Use the courses to hold staff accountable to specific practices. 3. Focus CE learning around customer service and experience. Ensure that staff are using their dental knowledge and skills to perform procedures and take care of patients, all the while delivering a positive and high-quality customer experience.
4. Make life easier for the dental practice owner and/or manager. Streamline procedures and office workflows to increase production, reduce patient and staff problems and increase profitability of the clinic(s) overall. 5. When a staff member has a deficiency, practice owners and managers can direct the staff to the specific required training module as part of the performance review or evaluation. This allows the practice owner to demonstrate proof that training has been provided if deficient performance results in dismissal. 6. Staff are obtaining CE credits while they are learning best practices and doing on the job training. Our app is available on the web, and we also have mobile applications. Staff can complete training outside of work hours from home, at work or on the go.
